Underwood sold a LOT of machines, and their machines were designed to take some serious abuse.  And so even though a lot of them are available, very few are 100% mechanically sound.  That's why we take special care to go over each and every function before listing it as 'restored.'

This typewriter's covers have seen a lot of wear and tear, and that's why you can obtain this old beauty for such a low price.  But the mechanics of the machine are guaranteed.  It's got a new draw-band, and the original one (still actually whole and not broken) will be included with the purchase.
