The Royal Companion was a very simplified typewriter made for fast and light travel. You'll notice the lack of buttons and controls on this typewriter. That's because Royal knew that most typists don't use all the berlls and whistles. People wanted something they could just put paper in and type--and that's what we have here.
The covers were taken off and painted to give it a fresh retro look. All the mechanics were adjusted, repaired, and tested. This machine is ready to go--on a desktop or in the field.
